For a change

Hello and Welcome to my first Protection based post!
but i am not going to be talking about how protection paladins are functioning now in 3.2, i am going to talk about my DS (Dual spec) protection experience.
i think i've mentioned in the first posts that i've been a protection paladin after i gave up my Troll protection warrior, my love Old Almaster.
back when protection paladins were the ultimate AOE tanks.
i am not going to get deep in that, i just wanted to show you something i saw last night while i was in 10 man Ulduar.
Now my last guild raid was like 2 months ago, and after that i didnt get myself into any raids but TOC Heroic 10 man, and that was just to see whats in there.
i was bored last night, and saw a late night guild LF1M Healer for Ulduar 10 man, so i said WTH, i will go, i miss raiding.

So we ran a smooth Ulduar, we killed the keepers then called it a day since it was 7 am server time when we are done, and people had to sleep/go to work.

we got Heartbreaker for 10 man, i tried to get this achievement before 3.2 and it was kinda easy, but we didnt get it when we did tried it, so i am proud to say that i got it now.



i also got T8 protection pants, and after i gemmed it and enchanted it, i noticed something...




my gear is weird, way too weird.

if you noticed, i still use my T6 helm, i enchanted it and gemmed it with WOTLK enchants and gems.


i also have T7.5 shoulders

and a T8 pants

so lets see, T6, 7.5 and 8, what else is weird?

well lets see, i still use my trinket from Hydross, SSC

and the other trinket is from H-AN

i have a rare tanking axe and shield from naxx 25, back when i was leading naxx and no one needed them, i scooped them in-case i wanted to go prot again.


and have nothing to fear, i have a tanking chest from 10 man naxx

all i need now is something from OS, and i will have a single piece from every instance in WOTLK, and 2 pieces of gear from TBC.
my hp is kinda good, with buffs i can hit 33k HP which is kinda good


and my stats aren't bad either,


now i know how people Like ensidia and top raiding guilds were able to do raiding while they were in T6, you only need to socket them with WOTLK gems, and enchant them properly, and you can get an almost T7 quality items.
